Technology as a driver of quality and efficiency

The automation of processes, interfaces with content management systems (CMS), workflow management for terminology, and AI (artificial intelligence) in the area of content creation, translation and interpreting – technology plays a central role for us. In all of this, we always maintain a focus on the customer experience and the highest possible quality of our services.

Voiceover

Professional voice-overs make corporate and other videos sound good in any language. The translated written content is recorded by a native speaker in studio quality directly into an audio file. We now offer voiceovers using AI-generated voices as well.

Subtitling

Video messages reach a wide audience with subtitling. Syntax supports the entire process, from transcription to the creation of subtitling files for the video or presentation (subtitles usually do not include sound). Modern tools, like speech-to-text language recognition and AI-generated subtitling that is edited by a professional, make this service especially efficient.

Live captions

In contrast to subtitling, live captioning represents all sound elements, including non-verbal aspects such as noises and music. With live captions, which are produced almost in real-time (with as little delay as possible), events become accessible to participants from different language regions on nearly every screen. Experienced respeakers repeat what is said in the source language or the interpretation, and language recognition software produces live captions that are quickly corrected by the respeaker.

Translation memory system (TMS)

Translation memory technology remains essential in a modern translation environment. The translation memory, a central database on a server, saves all of the translations and thus provides access to a wealth of knowledge. Because the same sentence never has to be translated twice, translations are not only more consistent, but also more efficient and less expensive.

Neural machine translation (NMT)

Neural machine translation is based on artificial neural networks. These networks are “trained” by feeding them millions of sentence pairs. The artificial intelligence (AI) is able to produce translations on its own based on the connections it has learned. Subsequent editing by humans (known as post-editing) ensures high-quality output.

Corporate language (Tools)

We can manage your corporate language for you, including creating comprehensive, structured glossaries for your company-specific terms and standard formulations. All terms are maintained and kept up-to-date in our central database on a server that is available to your authors and our translators at all times.

Interfaces/CMS

We offer you various options for sending us orders at the push of a button. Content management systems (CMS), such as Censhare, Drupal, WordPress, Typo3, Schema ST4 and many more, can be linked directly to our application programming interface (API).

Portal

Our customer portal allows you to submit orders in a highly efficient manner and to send us confidential data securely. An overview of current and completed orders is possible at any time.
